I couldn’t be happier with my wedding suit! From the very first consultation, Amir and Arjan took the time to understand my wishes and offered personal, expert advice throughout the process. The final result was absolutely perfect and exceeded all my expectations. I received so many compliments on my suit. Every detail was taken care of to perfection.

For my wedding I was looking for the perfect wedding suit. I spent quite some time on selecting the best store in The Hague and it turned out to be Ettemadis, a beautiful venue steps away from the Royal Palace Noordeinde. Amir runs the store together with his brother Arjan. Both gentlemen were genuinely engaged in finding the best wedding outfit. With my daughter, who lives abroad on the iPad, and my bonus son with me, Amir measured my to be suit inch by inch. He advised on the little things you don't necessarily think about. Ettemadis also sells shoes that fit well with the suit. They are custom made to the size of your feet. After all the measurements were taken it took several weeks to make the actual suit. When picking up the suit, the fitting exercise was straightforward. The suit fitted right away without the need for adjustments. Ettemadis set me up for success.

No detail is overlooked, and every possibility is explored (sometimes quite literally, as they pull out all the stops). This is bespoke tailoring at a level you rarely encounter elsewhere. Your outfit is carefully tailored to the season, the venue, the expected weather, the length of the day — absolutely everything is taken into consideration. They even go so far as to ask for a small piece of fabric from your partner’s wedding dress, allowing them to match the colour and texture of your new shirts to the dress, ensuring that your outfits complement each other perfectly. How much better can you possibly be at your craft? The welcome is warm, the coffee is excellent, communication is seamless, and the final result is outstanding. Highly recommended!

The first visit was an orientation to see if there was a “match.” I was helped fantastically — helpful, honest advice, and never pushy, which I did experience in other stores. During the second and third visits, we put the made-to-measure suit together and did the fittings.
