Article 1 – Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, quotations, agreements, and deliveries of products and services by or on behalf of Ettemadis BV.
By placing an order or confirming an assignment, the client acknowledges having read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
Article 2 – Ready to wear and made-to-measure
For all made-to-measure orders, 50% of the total amount is due upon placing the order as a non-refundable deposit.
The remaining 50% is payable upon delivery or collection of the finished product.
For non-custom products (such as accessories or ready-to-wear items), payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.
Ettemadis reserves the right to suspend delivery until full payment has been received.
Article 3 – Prices
All prices are listed in euros (€) and include VAT, unless otherwise specified.
Prices exclude any shipping costs, alterations, or additional requests made after the order has been confirmed.
Article 4 – Payment

Article 5 – Delivery and production time
Delivery times are agreed upon in consultation with the client. As made-to-measure production depends on craftsmanship and materials, all delivery times are indicative.
Delays in delivery do not entitle the client to compensation or cancellation, unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
Once the garment is ready, the client will be contacted to schedule a fitting or collection appointment.
Article 6 – Fit and alterations
During the fitting session, Ettemadis ensures that the garment fits according to the confirmed order.
Minor adjustments (e.g. sleeve length or waist refinement) are included in the service.
Significant alterations resulting from changes in preference, taste, or body measurements after the order was placed are not included
Article 7 – Right of withdrawal and returns
In accordance with Article 10(3) of the Dutch Distance Selling Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply to made-to-measure or personalised products, as these are produced to the client’s specifications.
For non-custom products (such as accessories or ready-to-wear items), the client has the legal right to withdraw within 14 days of receiving the product.
Returns will only be accepted if the product is unused, undamaged, and in its original condition and packaging.
The client is responsible for the return shipment and associated costs, unless the item is defective due to an error attributable to Ettemadis.
Article 8 – Warranty and quality
Ettemadis guarantees the quality and craftsmanship of all products.
Any defects not caused by improper use or normal wear and tear will be repaired free of charge within a reasonable period.
The warranty does not apply to damage caused by misuse, external factors, or alterations made by third parties
Article 9 – Liability
Ettemadis is not liable for damages resulting from misuse of the delivered products.
The liability of Ettemadis is in all cases limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific order in question.
Article 10 – Force majeure
In the event of force majeure (including strikes, fire, illness, transportation problems, or supplier delays), Ettemadis reserves the right to suspend or terminate the agreement without being liable for damages.
Article 11 – Intellectual property
All designs, patterns, photographs, and texts remain the property of Ettemadis and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.
Article 12 – Governing law and disputes
All agreements and legal relationships with Ettemadis are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent court in The Hague, The Netherlands.
