Crafting a tailored shirt is a passion that runs deep for us, and we've been doing it with great dedication since 1952. Our tailored shirts are meticulously handcrafted by our skilled shirtmakers in our own workshop on Noordeinde in The Hague.

From cutting the fabric to crafting each tailored shirt, we oversee every aspect of the production process in our workshop on Noordeinde. This enables us to deliver the very best fit and finish for the discerning men.

Our Approach

1. Measurement & Advice

We take 25 body measurements, consider your posture and preferences, and let you customize every element of your shirt. Choose from 30+ collar and cuff options, various monogram styles, collar linings, an mother-of-pearl buttons. We guide you to ensure a perfect tailored shirt.

2. Getting to work

We use your measurements to hand-cut the fabric in our workshop on Noordeinde. Our experienced shirtmakers then get to work on your shirt. We closely monitor the production process and carefully address specific requests. Your custom shirt is crafted with utmost precision, employing traditional craftsmanship.

3. The first fitting

Thanks to our years of experience and expertise in measuring and crafting shirts, we guarantee an impeccable fit and quality. We strive for nothing less than perfection.

4. A perfect result

We only hand over your shirt when you are completely satisfied. Your measurements and preferences are stored in a personalized paper template, making it easy to place follow-up orders, even from a distance.

The delivery time for a handmade tailored shirt is approximately 4 weeks.

The iconic Ettemadis bespoke shirts are exclusively crafted using the finest Egyptian and Sea-Island cotton. Thanks to meticulous craftsmanship and careful material selection, a unique combination of comfort, quality, and durability is achieved. With 71 years of experience, we are the proud creators of shirts that can be worn with pleasure for years. Prices start at €285,-. We are also the only Master Ambassador in the Netherlands for the Italian brands Albini and Thomas Mason.

With the ordering of 5 shirts, you will receive an additional custom shirt as a token of appreciation from us. If you are ordering for the first time, we will first create one shirt for you. Only after you have fully approved it, we will proceed with the rest of the order. Within just 4 weeks, we will deliver to you a beautiful set of 6 perfectly tailored shirts.
